About

I was born in Tauranga and have lived most of my life here, apart from brief sojourns in Hamilton and Auckland. At the University of Waikato, I studied Computing and Mathematical Science up to Masters degree level -- before belatedly deciding that computers were flaky, unreliable things that hated me. Luckily, this pushed me into rediscovering my childhood fascination with the visual arts and made me retrain as a photographer.

For the past four years I have been studying photography at Capture-It NZ. During that time I have worked as a commercial and official event photographer, and I am currently training as a wedding photographer. Samples of my work may be seen on the following pages.
